Béchamel Sauce

Béchamel Sauce (E with an Accent).

Ingredients:
2Tbl unsalted Butter
2Tbl all purpose Flour
2C whole Milk
1/2tsp Salt

Directions:
Melt butter. Add flour. Cook for 2-3min. Add milk.


Melt 2Tbl. butter over medium heat.
Add 2Tbl. flour.





Stir to combine. Cook for 3min.



Measure and microwave milk for 1min.
Add warmed milk to the flour/butter mixture.


Whisk to combine.
Add 1/2tsp. salt.
Continually whisk/stir for 5-7min. until thickened.


Once bubbly, remove from heat. 


Dip a spoon in the sauce. Run your finger down the back of the spoon. If the sides don't bleed together, then you done good.
