Snack Time

Let's face it, wraps rule! Anything hand held is fun to eat in my opinion. This is once again, a versatile "blue print" of a recipe. It's actually not so much a recipe as it is a suggestion.

If you're watching your carb intake, this one is DEFINITELY for you since I used meat as means for the ingredient swaddling. And if you're not concerned with any such dietary restrictions, this baby still needs eating and is the poifect (yes, I meant to misspell perfect) snack!

The idea behind this particular snacky-snack was a bit like the "surf & turf" mentality take on food. Meaning that one compliments the other.

If you're not into snacks so much or enjoy hosting parties, slice each rolled wrap into fourths or fifths. They make a great little finger food/appetizer for parties. Stick a tooth pick in them, pile onto a platter, and Olé! Instant party.

Ingredients:
quarter of an Avocado
2 Garlic Cloves

hefty plucking of Alfalfa Sprouts
thinly sliced Red Onion
dribble of Herdez Tomatillo Sauce
squirt of French's Mustard

2 slices of Boar's Head Tavern Ham

I'm deeming these two wraps as a healthy/wealthy snack. Which one is the healthy and which is the wealthy? You be the judge. Meanwhile, I'll just be stuffing my face. Eat up, you buttercups.

Also, budgeting quick tip for the fellow, frugal cook. Whenever possible, buy this brand of spices instead of the pricey jarred variety:

You'll save a ton of money.
